Climate SL® (Self-Leveling) Adhesive for Survivable Buildings
CLIMATE SL® Adhesive is a highly elastic, moisture-curing self-leveling adhesive designed for horizontal expansion joints and over joints on concrete, tile, and masonry substrates. This adhesive can also be used for deep applications such as roof and foundation penetrations.
CLIMATE SL® is ideal for conditions with wide temperature variations because it can elongate up to 950% without tearing or breaking and return to its original dimension, making it an extraordinarily resiliant adhesive. CLIMATE SL® levels to a smooth, glossy finish that seldom requires tooling.
Where performance is critical, a primer may be required, as well as an appropriate-sized backer rod. CLIMATE SL® can be applied at a wide range of temperatures from 100 degrees Fahrenheit down to 30 degrees Fahrenheit.
